Chapter 475
Chapter 475:
Dallas let out a low laugh and pulled her into a tight embrace.
Just as his lips brushed hers, a sleek black Maybach pulled up to the curb. The tinted rear window slowly rolled down.
Damon Luna sat in the backseat, his dark eyes fixed intently on Eliza.
The Maybach’s engine purred like a caged beast.
Dallas’s body went instantly rigid. His hand dropped from Eliza’s waist to grip the handle of his cane, his knuckles turning white.
Before Dallas could step forward, his phone rang — an emergency override tone from Vinnie.
Dallas answered, his eyes never leaving Damon’s face. “Boss,” Vinnie’s voice was frantic. “Frost Pharmaceuticals just initiated a hostile dump of their S&D shares in retaliation. We need you to authorize the counter-buy immediately, or the board will panic p>
Dallas cursed under his breath. He looked at Eliza, his jaw tight with frustration. “I have to take this call in the car. It’s a secure line p>
“Go,” Eliza said softly, touching his chest. “I’ll be fine. Simmons is right here p>
Dallas shot one last, lethal glare at the Maybach before turning and climbing into his waiting SUV.

The moment Dallas’s car pulled away, Damon Luna stepped out.
He wore a perfectly tailored grey suit, looking wealthy, dangerous, and entirely too confident.
“That was quite a performance in there, Eliza,” Damon said, his voice smooth as silk. “You never cease to amaze me p>
Eliza took a step back, maintaining a polite but freezing distance. “Mr. Luna, if you have business with S&D, you need to make an appointment p>
“I don’t care about S&D,” Damon said, stepping closer. “I care about you. Let me buy you a cup of tea. There’s a private tea house right around the corner. Five minutes p>
Eliza hesitated. She wanted to know exactly how much Damon knew about the current chaos. Keep your enemies close.
“Five minutes,” Eliza agreed.
Simmons trailed them like a shadow as they walked to the quiet, dimly lit tea house. They settled into a private booth separated by bamboo screens.
Damon didn’t touch his cup. He leaned forward, his dark eyes intense. “I know the truth about Dallas’s condition, Eliza,” he said, dropping all pretense. “Yolanda was crude, but she wasn’t entirely wrong p>
Eliza’s stomach tightened. “My husband’s health is none of your concern p>
“It is my concern when it ruins your life!” Damon said, his voice rising with sudden passion. “He’s crippled, Eliza. He’s broken. You are tying yourself to a man who will spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair p>
Damon reached across the table, his hand hovering near hers. “I know you’re pregnant,” he said softly. “And I know Dallas Koch is sterile. I don’t care who the biological father is — Anson, some anonymous donor — it doesn’t matter.” Eliza froze, her breath catching in her throat.
“Leave him,” Damon pleaded. “Marry me. I will legally adopt the child. I will claim him as my own, giving him the legitimate heir status the Luna family demands p>
