Chapter 51
Chapter 51:
His glare sharpened. “The one time I was in danger, you ran. You left me. That’s why you’ll never be good enough. You’re not even worth the dirt under Willa’s feet p>
He said it like it was truth, like his pain justified every word.
But Noelle didn’t flinch. Her eyes stayed locked on him—cool, steady, and utterly unbothered.
“Let me make one thing clear,” she said slowly. “I’ve already cut ties with the Moss family. Stop calling me your sister—it makes my skin crawl. And another thing… are you sure Willa’s the one who saved you that day p>
Noelle’s words hit Gerard like a punch to the gut. His eyes widened in disbelief. “What are you saying? Are you actually claiming that you were the one who saved me instead of Willa? Noelle, are you seriously trying to take her credit? How can you be this cruel? Willa risked her life for me, and now you want to steal that from her too? Do you even have a shred of conscience left p>
Noelle remained calm. She wasn’t surprised by his reaction—she had expected it. He was hopeless.

Blinded by his self-righteousness, Gerard truly believed she was trying to take away Willa’s moment of glory. His eyes burned with anger, filled with disgust as if he were defending Willa’s honor. Then, without warning, he charged at Noelle, his hand raised to strike her. “You need to be taught a lesson p>
Noelle’s eyes narrowed.
Before he could even get close, she lifted her leg and kicked him.
A loud thud echoed through the hall as Gerard hit the floor near the top of the stairs. His elbow slammed hard against the ground, turning red almost instantly, and he barely managed to grab the railing before tumbling down completely.
Unbelievable. Noelle had actually kicked him. And not just lightly—she had nearly sent him flying down the stairs.
Shaking with rage, Gerard scrambled to his feet, his lips trembling as he tried to speak. But before he could let out a single curse, several security guards rushed up the stairs.
They glanced between Gerard and Noelle—and it didn’t take long for them to figure out who mattered here. Noelle, who had arrived with Ethan and sat in the exclusive second-floor area, was clearly someone important. Gerard, on the other hand, was not.
“Sir,” one of the guards said firmly, “this floor is restricted. The auction’s over, and guests aren’t allowed to wander around here. You need to leave now p>
Not just anyone?
Gerard’s face flushed with humiliation. It felt like another slap across the face. “Look again! Do you even know who I am? I’m Gerard Moss—from the Moss family p>
The head guard smirked. “Oh, Gerard Moss, huh? Perfect. Boys, help Mr. Moss find the door p>
At once, the guards grabbed him and started dragging him out.
Gerard Moss of the Moss family? In the guards’ eyes, that name meant nothing here. Not in front of Ethan.
In less than a minute, the second floor was peaceful again—the mess cleaned up as if nothing had happened.
