Chapter 132
Chapter 132:
“You really are relentless, aren’t you?” Ryan scoffed.
He tightened his grip on her shoulders, forcing her to meet his gaze. His eyes were ablaze with a tumult of emotions.
“Let me make this clear one last time; don’t even entertain the idea of divorce. I won’t allow you to be with him,” he declared.
Confusion flickered across Jenessa’s face. It was he who had initiated the divorce for Maisie, yet now he seemed reluctant to follow through. Why this sudden change?
Jenessa began to explain once more that there was nothing romantic between her and Richard. She was certain that Ryan, twisted by his own thoughts, had maliciously misinterpreted their relationship.
“Rick and I p>
The mere mention of Richard ignited a fury within Ryan. With a harsh grip, he seized her chin, leaned close, and silenced her with a forceful kiss.
The kiss, rough and demanding, left Jenessa’s lips aching. She frowned and tried to pull away. But Ryan wrapped an arm around her waist, holding her firmly, and deepened the kiss.
The heat of his breath left Jenessa dizzy, her resistance fading against her will.
The dimness of the car was filled with the sounds of their intense encounter. Jenessa’s gasps and muffled protests only drove Ryan further into his fervor. His hand, rough and hot, slipped under her clothes, eliciting a shiver from Jenessa.
Realizing his intent, Jenessa panicked, thinking of the baby she carried. Despite her efforts, she couldn’t overpower him. Driven by fear, Jenessa bit down hard.
“Ouch!” Ryan grimaced in pain, his hold loosening.
Seizing the moment, Jenessa shoved him away, her lips now swollen from the aggressive kiss.
Ryan, touching his bleeding lip, stared at Jenessa in disbelief. This woman had actually bitten him!
Just as Ryan was about to express his outrage, Jenessa suddenly felt a wave of nausea. She turned aside and retched painfully.
Ryan almost laughed in anger.
“Jenessa, do you really despise me this much p>
Jenessa, her face pale, struggled to find a way to explain that it was only morning sickness. Yet, she couldn’t reveal her pregnancy just yet.
Her lips parted, but no words came out.
Ryan awaited a denial, but her silence only intensified his anger.
“Get out!” Ryan shouted, his voice thunderous with rage.
Ryan’s loud shout startled Jenessa, causing her to tremble with fear. She instinctively reached for the car door to escape. After tugging at the handle twice, she realized it was locked and wouldn’t budge.
Ryan, noticing her desperation to leave, felt a surge of irritation. He was her husband, yet she seemed to prefer the company of another man and shunned him. Anger flushed Ryan’s face as he hastily unlocked the door and shouted hoarsely, “Get out! Don’t ever come back p>
His words were cut short by a violent coughing fit.
Jenessa, alarmed, turned to him and saw blood on his lips! This sight genuinely scared her. She quickly abandoned her plans to leave, rushed to his side, and asked with concern, “What’s happening to you p>
Despite his lingering anger, Ryan, struggling to maintain his composure, shoved her hand away and snapped, “Leave me alone. I don’t want to see you again p>
