Jenessa’s face hardened. She dropped her gaze back to the papers, confirming Hilda’s name was indeed among the participants.

“When I signed that contract with the competition organizers, no one mentioned helping competitors cheat. Besides, the entire event is supposed to be fair and transparent. No one is above the rules, not even you p>

Hilda shrugged, her tone light.

“Rules are one thing; my word is another. You don’t have to change a thing. I mean, in every industry, do people really care about playing fair? My father is the chairman of the Reynolds Group. No one’s going to challenge me anyway. All you need to do is follow my lead p>

Jenessa could hardly believe how casually Hilda dismissed integrity.
