Chapter 51
Chapter 51:
At the police station, Tucker walked out on bail with a smug expression.
“I told you I’m innocent!” he exclaimed.
“That unscrupulous woman seduced me and tried to frame me. There’s clearly not enough evidence. I’m out on bail, right? You all wronged me p>
The police officers exchanged glances. They were used to facing shameless individuals, but Tucker was the most shameless of them all.
Elated by his release, Tucker strutted out of the station.
His triumph was short-lived, however, as he was suddenly cornered by a group of imposing men in a narrow alley.
“Hey! What are you doing? Who are you p>
Before he could react further, he was forcefully restrained and shoved into a car.
Surrounded by the burly figures inside the vehicle, escape was not an option. They quickly covered Tucker’s head with a sack, and the car accelerated away.
Engulfed in darkness, Tucker was overwhelmed with fear, struggling to keep his composure.
“Who are you? Who would dare do this to me? Do you have any idea who I am? I’m a senior executive at WorldLink Group!” He was panic-stricken. Although he had accumulated numerous enemies over his career, his prestigious position had previously shielded him.
Who would dare kidnap him in such a bold manner?
He made a firm decision to confront the mastermind of his abduction the instant he encountered them.

The car journey felt endless until it finally halted.
When his captors removed the sack, Tucker’s anger turned to shock. Before him sat Ryan, the president of WorldLink Group.
“Mr. Haynes!” he gasped, his voice faltering as his knees gave way. He scrambled on the floor, desperate to appease.
“This must be a misunderstanding. Have I offended you in some way p>
Ryan sat with his legs elegantly crossed, his expensive leather shoes catching the light.
He regarded Tucker with a gaze that was both icy and detached.
His voice was low and menacing, chilling Tucker to the bone.
“Where were you the night before last? What were you doing? Remember anything p>
Fear washed over Tucker.
“I was doing nothing wrong,” he stammered.
Ryan scoffed softly and turned his head slightly.
“Really p>
Without another word from Tucker, Ryan signaled his secretary, Rohan.
Rohan nodded and motioned to the men beside him.
One of them stepped forward silently and swung a club down viciously on Tucker’s leg.
“AAA-AH!” Tucker screamed, agony coursing through him as his leg began to bleed heavily from the savage strike.
Pain radiated from his leg, and his face turned ghostly pale.
“Oh, my leg… My leg…” he moaned as he collapsed to the floor, vainly reaching for his injured leg. The burly men held him firmly in place, preventing any movement.
